Hicks Haven Total Solar Eclipse 2024 Easy Access Camping Spot for April 5-9, 2024. Close to Bald Knob Cross, Makanda, SIU, Shawnee National Forest and hiking trails. Camping Spaces are 30 ft x 60 ft. Bring your self-contained camper/RV or tent. Grass Surface camping and parking with No potable water, electrical hookups, or dump services. Access to Porta-potties and a community campfire with wood provided. A Great sky view from the campground. Bring lawn chairs, telescopes and solar glasses. There is a pond near the campsite if you want to bring a fishing pole.

*Campsites are on grass and sized 30 ft. x 60 ft. each. Campground includes a community campfire with firewood provided and porta-potties. Well behaved dogs are allowed.
