The city of Carbondale is now offering a pop-up campground at Evergreen Park for the Southern Illinois Crossroads Eclipse Festival! Evergreen Park, located at 1205 W. Pleasant Hill Road, offers new accessible bathrooms, fishing at a 135-acre lake, and a great place for a picnic or to enjoy the playground. With the newly paved roads, parking lots, and sidewalks within the park, Evergreen is more accessible than ever. This pop- up campground provides ADA accessible restroom facilities, a portable shower trailer, a community cooking and gathering pavilion, and onsite trash and recycling. This pop-up campground does not have potable water or electricity. Located 2.5 miles away from downtown Carbondale, bring your kayaks, fishing poles, bikes, hiking boots, and more- the recreation opportunities are endless. Each package is priced per campsite with designated parking space reservation, one pass per vehicle for all guests.
